In FIFA 14, the defending system changed very drastically and although it has not changed as much this year, it has definitely gotten just a bit more difficult. With acceleration and pace becoming significantly more effective on attack, it is simply more difficult to defend. However, this guide will go over some key points which will help you defend much more efficiently.

Much like its predecessors, FIFA 15 is all about knowing when to pass and when to dribble. In FIFA 15, it is very often more effective to send a player on a darting run forward than to pass the ball around and possess as it has been in previous versions, but that doesn't mean passing isn't just as effective in FIFA 15.

FIFA 15 shooting seems only slightly different from past versions of FIFA. In FIFA 15, shots are definitely more powerful on average, but the keeper seems far more likely to save them. The general rule seems to be that you need to position your player well. He cannot be off-balance or sprinting, or you will see definite declines in accuracy. Of course, you can still score while sprinting or being pushed around by a defender, but it is important to avoid this as best you can. Below you can read about some of the different aspects of shooting in FIFA 15.

In order to control the rapid rate at which some huge Ultimate Team traders seem to accumulate coins, EA has implemented a tax structure in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team. Some players suspect that it's just another way to stimulate more pack sales. 5% isn't a lot, but if they can cut 5% of trader profits, it may cause more pack sales. You probably won't really even notice the taxes, but it is important to be aware of Ultimate Team taxes for when you are involved in more significant trading numbers.
