For those of us who don't want to fork out the fortune of coins required to buy a Ronaldo or Messi, there are players who are cheap because they aren't popular or don't seem good, but are actually world-class players in disguise. In FIFA 10, size, strength, and speed are the key factors, and most of these players have all three. Many of you will find your own little gem on your own, but here is a list of 10 of the best players you can buy for a low price.

Player Club/Nationality Position Strengths
Omefabi Martins Newcastle United/Nigerian ST Martins is one of the fastest players on FUT 10, and was a gem in FUT 09 also. He is an absolute speed-demon. If his speed isn't his best trait, then his shooting certainly is.
John Carew Aston Villa/Norwegian ST Carew is the full package; unbelievably strong, very quick, and an excellent finisher, in the air or on the ground, and will shove off most defenders
Sebastian Giovinco Parma/Italian ST Pace, pace, and more pace is Giovonco's motto, at least in FUT 10. He is unbelievable from a standstill, his acceleration is great. His dribbling skills are also an asset.
David Trezeguet Hercules/French ST Trezguet is a truly classic striker. Strong, good pace, and clinical finishing. If your team features good passers of the ball throughout the midfield, I would highly recommend including Trezeguet in your squad.
Michael Bradley Borussia M'gladbach/American CM A defensive rock with strong attacking attributes. Plays exactly like he does in real life, fights for every ball and makes the key passes.
Benoit Pedretti Auxerre/French CDM Pedretti's strong point is clearly his shooting, particularly long range shooting. His passing is also a clear asset.
Louis Saha Everton/French ST Louis Saha is a perfect example of how pace is key in FIFA 10, along with strength, Saha lacks in strength in some respects, but still manages with pure speed.
Yoann Gourcuff Bordeaux/French CAM Gourcuff is an excellent passer of the ball, has exceptional dribbling skills, and is useful on the break.
Andrea Pirlo AC Milan/Italian CM Although old and arguably one of the slowest players in FIFA 10, Pirlo still manages to let his strong points outshine his weaknesses. His passing is undoubtedly his strongest attribute, followed closely by positioning.
Michael Owen Manchester United/English CF Despite his age, EA have given Own incredible pace, and his finishing is near perfect, as you might expect from Owen.
