Manager Mode

Manager Mode is a classic FIFA game mode that returns for the 2010 season. Between transfers, scouting, and team management in general, Manager Mode can be a hectic challenge. This tutorial provides the guidelines to manager mode for beginners, but also has some intermediate insight and tips. Manager mode seemingly didn't change much from the 08 to 09 versions of FIFA, but there has been a pretty significant revamp for FIFA 10. Read more here.

Virtual Pro

A new feature to FIFA 10 is the ability to create your own Virtual Pro and you can use him throughout many areas of the game, including online ones. This builds off of FIFA 09's Be a Pro: Seasons Mode, but is much more complex and you can use your player outside of this single game mode. Also note that Be a Pro: Seasons mode is available in FIFA 10 (see mode below), and you can use your Virtual Pro in this, among other possible game modes. Now Virtual Pro isn't exactly considered a regular game mode, but rather a single game mode that you can progress in through many other game modes of FIFA. Read more here.

Tournament Mode

The Tournament Mode in FIFA 10 provides a fun way to challenge your friends or the computer to a competitive tournament. The tournaments are based off of real life Cups and Leagues, so you can pick your favorite professional tournament such as the Carling Cup or the MLS Cup. Read more here.

Be a Pro: Seasons

Be a Pro Mode allows you to assume the role of a professional footballer, whether it be a player created on your console or an already established player within the game. Either way, this game mode allows you to see the game as real professionals do in the game as you strive to improve your game rating. FIFA 09 introduced a new addition to this which allows you to play through an actual career of your selected "pro" instead of just playing games for him that mean nothing, and it has returned for FIFA 10.
